Mama Like #4: More Kin Talent
I feel like a jerk sister. I just found out my brother has a blog, and has had for awhile. While I have very limited talent, my brother has done stand-up comedy and can write, paint, make music, and (not yet shown on his blog) make amazing puppet characters. Not weirdo puppets to lure kids, but puppets you’d want to be friends with, or at least laugh at. Puppets with life stories, with films in production.
Some of my current faves on his blog are: “How to Become a Proper Man”, “Mr Grapple you are BS”, and “The Amish Dog”, the last of which gives me a compliment so obviously I include. Actually, the last post is inspired by Dogchild, given his neurotic behavior resulting from being a stud rescued from an Amish puppy mill. Luckily he’s not aggressive, like Witness from my brother’s story.
Also, I tend to love Jojo the Man (see his posts “Boom (I’m Going to Get Some Arby’s)” and “Shaboing-boing”). Let’s be clear that Jojo is a fictional musical genius, but his songs are shamefully catchy nonetheless. My brain goes batty trying to imagine what Jojo would look like, what his album covers would look like, what his fans would be like.
